Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter an agreement to create an account.

You're responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in details private, and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

The Circuit only works if people describe themselves honestly. Don't impersonate anyone, don't claim a company you don't represent, and keep your profile up to date.

You keep ownership of what you add — your profile text, pitch, notes and links. You give us permission to store and display it in the way the product describes: publicly where you've marked it public, and privately where it is private. You're responsible for having the right to share what you post.

Information you designate as public may be seen by other Circuit users. Information you give us about your interests, skills, needs and what you're looking for is private, and is not shown publicly unless you choose to share it.

A Conference Code adds your profile to an event's group. A Startup Code lets someone add a startup to their board. Don't share codes you weren't given, and don't enter a startup's code without having spoken to them.

Event organizers run their own events. They can see aggregate information about participation and engagement at their event. They cannot see your private notes or your private matchmaking answers, and joining an event does not give an organizer or anyone else permission to contact you directly.

Don't harass, spam, scrape, resell access, mislead people, upload malware, try to break our security, or use The Circuit for anything unlawful. We may remove content or accounts that do.

The Circuit's name, design and software belong to us. Names and logos belonging to other companies remain theirs.

Profiles may link to websites we don't control. We're not responsible for what's on them.

The Circuit helps people find each other. It does not guarantee introductions, matches, replies, employment, investment, partnerships, funding or any other business outcome. Any decision you make about someone you meet here is your own.

We work to keep The Circuit running, but it is provided as-is and may be unavailable, changed or discontinued at any time.

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll make it visible in the product. Continuing to use The Circuit after a change means you accept the updated terms.
